Naidu meets Jap. Minister on collaboration

After the launch of the AP government’s Industry Mission in Visakhaptnam, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu left for New Delhi and participated in a bilateral meeting with Yoichi Miyazawa, Minister for Economic Trade and Industry, (METI) Japan.
Miyazawa informed the Chief Minister that METI held an initial study on Andhra Pradesh and identified certain areas of collaboration. The key findings of the report were shared with Chief Minister. Some of the key areas which have been identified for attracting investments from Japanese companies are: Capital city project, Support for transportation in Capital City and Financing support to the project.
After the meeting, Miyazawa invited the Chief Minister to Japan for further review and discussion on the potential areas of collaboration between Andhra Pradesh and Japan. AP Special Representative in Delhi K. Ramamohan Rao, Secretaries S.S. Rawat, Giridhar and other officials were present. (NSS)
