Taking a dig at his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababau Naidu and YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today ridiculed the former that they have no other work except to defame the State.
Addressing the media at the TRS Bhavan here on Thursday, the Chief Minister literally said Naidu and Jagan left with no other work and trying to carry out misinformation campaign of untruths against the Telangana State government. “They must abstain from blaming our government”, he suggested. He also found fault with Chandrababu’s comments that they shifted to AP by leaving behind Hyderabad which gets Rs 60,000 crore revenue. Naidu, who ruled previous united AP and being the Chief Minister of the new State cannot indulge in such foolish talk, KCR said.
People will repose faith on the leaders and government for better and unblemished services and Palair byepoll proved it, he said. He also cited that people of Gujarat elected Narendra Modi as chief minister for many times and same was the case with Navin Patnaik in Odisha wherein people elected him for four times. KCR also cited that West Bengal people gave mandate to Mamata Benerji as Chief Minister for second consecutive term. The people will stand by the government which keeps its promises with a focus on welfare, the Chief Minister said. “In Telangana, the people are supporting the TRS since two years and we are winning all elections”, he said. The Opposition should stop making mindless allegations to be ridiculed by people, KCR added. (NSS)
