Congress senior leader and MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy today alleged that TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu and YSRCP chief and Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy are giving indications that they would join the BJP in an attempt to prevent tabling of Telangana Bill in Parliament. Both have adopted opportunistic politics leaving behind secular principles, he added.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Chandrababu Naidu had earlier said many a time that he would never go for an alliance with the BJP in future, now how can he become a friend of BJP prime ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi?, he asked.
Sukhendar Reddy said late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy would have not become Chief Minister of the State if there was no Congress and in the same way there will be no Y S Jagan without YSR, he added. Stating that the Congress would give Telangana definitely, Sukhender Reddy said TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao and all Telangana protagonists should support the Congress, he said. (NSS)
