Naidu Getting Closer To Congress: Kadiyam

TRS leader and former minister Kadiyam Srihari said the TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu was getting closer to the ruling Congress.
Talking to the media here on Monday, he said though the TDP got an opportunity to pull the government down when the TRS moved a no-confidence motion in the Assembly the party did not utilize it. He charged that Naidu did not heed his advise to utilize the opportunity and bring the government down. He said Naidu should tell the people why the party had not voted for the no-confidence motion. He said it was wrong for Naidu not to utilize the opportunity to pull the government down. Reminding that Naidu himself called upon the people to throw Congress in the Bay of Bengal, he questioned why he had not utilized the opportunity to do it. Referring to Naidu’s demand that the tainted ministers should be removed, he questioned why Naidu was asking for the dismissal of some ministers instead of asking for the resignation of the entire cabinet.
Stating that Congress was delaying decision on Telangana only because of the support of TDP, he said people in no part of the state were trusting the TDP. He said the noise Naidu was making on tainted ministers was all a drama. He said Naidu was demanding the sacking of the tainted ministers only as part of his match-fixing with the Congress.
Kadiyam said Congress had left the right to rule the state as it had spoilt all the democratic institutions. He also alleged that Congress and TDP together had stalled Telangana. Kadiyam also questioned why Naidu had not taken action against MPs who abstained from voting on the FDIs in the Parliament, meanwhile, another TRS leader Vinod demanded that Naidu who met the President should have demanded Telangana.(NSS)
