Leader of Opposition in AP Assembly and YSR Congress Party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday came down heavily on Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu accusing his government of projecting fudged figures of growth.
Addressing a mammoth rally at Vijayanagaram, Jagan accused Chandrababu Naidu of cheating people on the issue of special category status (SCS) to state. He said that the TD government was projecting false GDP figures in order to cover up its failure to get SCS to AP. He said that the state could only progress if it was granted special status.
Jagan said that SCS would attract industries to state and eventually boost employment opportunities to the youth. He said that the government was misleading the people after it failed to implement most of its poll promises. He said that the TD government has completely neglected the farm sector leading to severe farm crisis in the state. (INN)
