Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council C Ramchandraiah on Monday alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has failed to get Special Status for the State from the Centre.
Addressing a press conference at Indira Bhavan here, Ramchandraiah said when Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar could get a special package of Rs. 50,000 crore for his State from the Centre, then why, despite being ally of NDA Government, Naidu failed to get Special Status for AP. He also accused Naidu of spending over Rs. 100 crore on his personal needs instead of helping the farmers who are in distress.
Ramchandraiah said that Naidu has failed to act on the violations or non-implementation of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act. (INN)
