Naidu denies rift with NTR family

Hyderabad, April 09: Dismissing the reports in a section of the media over the alleged differences of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu with the members of NTR family, Naidu today said that all such reports were baseless.

“You (the media) are imagining things. Such imagination will remain as imaginations forever. The party is united,” Naidu said today.

It may be recalled that when TDP Krishna district leaders Vamsi and D Umamaheswara Rao differed over the tour programme of TDP Rajya Sabha member N Harikrishna, there were reports that the gap between Naidu and NTR family is widening.

Naidu said that if there were any issues pertaining to Krishna district or any other district they would be sorted out.

“Everything will be done in a democratic manner in the party, as long as I am the TDP president,” Naidu said. He further added that the TDP was founded to serve the people and individuals do not matter for the party. “We are all united,” Naidu said.

BALAYYA DENIES REFIT: Meanwhile, in a press release actor Nandamuri Balakrishna refuted the media reports. He clarified that he never indulged in anti-party activities and assured that he would strive hard to strengthen the party. “The media reports pained me. Do not drag me into unnecessary controversies and don’t create doubts in the minds of the people,” Balakrishna appealed to the media.
