Responding for first time after Telugu Desam legislator Revanth Reddy ended up in the iniquitous cash for vote case, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today slammed Telangana Home Minister N Narsimha Reddy for trying to blackmail him.
Addressing a public meeting after launching Janmabhumi program at Chebrolu in West Godavari district, Chandrababu dared Narsimha Reddy to file a case against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for unethically encouraging defections a day before MLC elections. ‘First you file a case against KCR for immoral acts if you have guts’, Naidu demanded.
He condemned Nayani’s remarks that he is the kingpin in the infamous cash for vote case. Naidu expressed surprise saying that how KCR offers shelter to his party MLAs at his residence a day before the MLC elections. He also found fault with the TRS Government for inducting some of the TD legislators into its Cabinet. Narsimha Reddy should first file a case against KCR if he has guts, Naidu demanded. Expressing serious discontent and displeasure over the Revanth case and the pressure being mounted by the TRS Government to file case against him, Naidu sought to know why the TRS Government was encouraging defections.
Criticizing the Opposition Leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy for leveling allegations from his Deeksha, Chandrababu alleged that the former has bad history and often come in the way of development. He reiterated that development works will not come to a halt despite any hurdles being created by the parties. Giving room to Jagan Reddy to become more vocal, he said that he made promises before the bifurcation and the situation now has changed. ‘Though I have made promises in united Andhra Pradesh I will sure keep all the promises’ Naidu stated.(NSS)
