Mr. N.Chandra Babu Naidu, President of TDP consulted the Senior leader of the party present in the city. He convened a meeting of Senior TDP leaders at his residence at Jubilee Hills. It is understood that he assessed the numerical strength of the State Govt. in Assembly and the political situation prevailing in the Center. It is also said that TDP has formulated a committee to review the fast changing political scenario. After tendering resignation by MLA’s belonging to Congress, YSR Congress and TDP, the numerical strength of the Assembly on party basis is being calculated. The possibility of imposing President’s Rule was also reviewed. In such a situation TDP has to evolve a strategy of its own. The anxiety was expressed on the anti-Telangana agitations of Seema Andhra people and the JAC of A.P. NGO’s employees. TDP made suggestions to PM for restoring normalcy. During the meeting, Mr. Naidu made it clear that TDP will not change its stand on Telangana at any cost since party has taken this decision after careful consideration. People from both the regions are applauding the decision taken by TDP. The party would negotiate with the Central Govt. on the development of Seema Andhra region and the process of bifurcation of the State.
