BJP State president G. Kishan Reddy on Monday alleged that TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu was deceiving the people of both the regions with his unclear stand on Telangana statehood.
Speaking to the media here, Kishan Reddy said that they have no objection to the padayatra of Chandrababu Naidu in the Telangana region, but the latter should clarify his stand on Telangana statehood. Resorting to delaying tactics on taking a stand on Telangana statehood, Chandrababu Naidu was deceiving people of the both regions.
Strongly objecting to the film “Women in Brahmanism”, the BJP leader demanded that the State government take stern action against Director and Producer of the film. He also warned that they would not tolerate if films were produced denigrating Hindu Gods. The BJP was totally against the films which insult any region, he said, adding that his party would set up a committee to prevent films like “Women in Brahmanism”.
The BJP leader said the statements of Union ministers on Telangana State would be taken into consideration while those of Seemandhra and Telangana ministers should not be cared. Alleging that the Centre was adopting delaying tactics on Telangana, he demanded that the Centre should take an immediate decision on the issue. (NSS)
