Telangana Panchayat Raj Minister K Tarakarama Rao on Wednesday claimed that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu cannot escape from law in the ‘Cash for Vote’ case.
Speaking to media persons in Mahabubnagar, KTR said that the Anti-Corruption Bureau has sufficient evidences to register a case against Naidu in the ‘Cash for Vote’ scam. He said that by making accusations of phone tapping against Telangana Government, Naidu himself has admitted that it was his voice which was broadcast by the media to prove that he spoke to nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson. Although Naidu is the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, he is a commoner in Hyderabad. Therefore, there was no question of allowing Naidu to escape from the law on this issue, he said.
KTR said Naidu could not be bailed out by the Central Government and leaders even if he pleads before them by holding their feet as all is equal before law. He said by not taking any action against TDP MLA Revanth Reddy after he was caught red handed by the ACB while trying to bribe the nominated MLA, Naidu has proved that he himself was involved in the case.
Commenting on Naidu’s decision to replace all security personnel with policemen from AP, he advised the Chief Minister to get water, milk, vegetables and power too from Andhra Pradesh during his stay in Hyderabad. (INN)
