Naidu assures to slash LPG price if voted to power

TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu today said the price of LPG (cooking gas) would be slashed if his party was voted to power in the ensuing Assembly elections.
Naidu was accorded a warm welcome by party cadre at Tummalgunta on the way to his native Narapalli village. He also worshipped Goddess Chamundeshwari.
Addressing the gathering later, Naidu alleged that Chief Minister Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy makes tall claims but does nothing. The Centre as well as the State government miserably failed to control the price rise, he alleged. Alleging that Red sandal smugglers and ATM dacoits were infiltrating into politics, the TDP chief said YSRCP leaders have no right to talk about Samaikhyandhra as they authorized the Congress to go ahead with bifurcation of the State. He said it was late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, who had dispatched a team of Telangana Congress leaders to Delhi to plead with Centre to carve out Telangana State. Alleging that bifurcation process was against the spirit of the Constitution, he said the Congress has taken “this” decision to checkmate the TDP.
Naidu also alleged that it was TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao, who invested money in his farmhouse after extorting money in the name of Telangana agitation. Ridiculing YSRCP’s claims, Naidu asked how can Jagan win MP seats in Telangana when he has no cadre in the region. (NSS)
