Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrbabu Naidu today asked the officials to ensure trouble-free Krishna Pushkaralu without any problems to devotees.
Naidu held a teleconference with ministers, district collectors HoD of various departments and Pushkarghat in-charges and reviewed the arrangements. The government is providing funds for the arrangements of Krishna pushkaralu despite financial crunch, the chief minister said.
He directed officials to use services of volunteers effectively who are coming forward to work during pushkaralu for providing better service to devotees.
Meanwhile, A P minister Prattipati Pullarao in Guntur said the government is taking all measures to make Krishna Pushkaralu a historic event. All arrangements have been made, as lakhs of devotees are expected to take a holy dip during pushkaralu. The minister warned that contractors would be black listed if their works was found inferior quality.
He expressed confidence that there is chances of getting special status to the state. Though BJP-TDP are having alliance, but there would be no compromise on the issue of special status, Pullarao said.
He alleged that opposition leader and YSRC president jaganmohan Reddy is visiting Delhi often to get away from cases filed against him.(NSS)
