Accepting the challenge posed by TRS for open discussions, Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu, President of TDP told that he is ready for it and said that whosoever wants to argue with him, he should come forward to discuss these issues on a private TV Channel. He also demanded the Central Govt. to convene an all party meaning. TDP is ready to offer its opinion on Telangana issue but center is adopting a dilly dallying policy. He told that TDP has a clear plan for the bifurcation of AP State, Despite this, some political parties are trying to defame it. TDP is not opposed to bifurcation of the state but the issue of bifurcating the state is with Central Govt. Mr. Naidu told that those who are challenging on the issue of development of Telangana are wrong. He accepts their challenge. Let them come forward for open discussions. He told that the steps taken by TDP Govt. for the development of Telangana Region are unforgettable. He further said that the way the Govt. promoting irregularities, it gives an impression that is supporting them. He said that all the sections of society are unhappy with the functioning of the Govt.
He told that the present Congress Govt. is incapable of taking any steps for stabilizing the Govt. or taking any step for its development. The downfall of the Govt. started with the demise of Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. TDP was playing the role of a constructive opposition and it was trying to stop irregularities by pointing out the mistakes of the Govt. but Dr. YSR neglected every allegation and continued looting the State. As a result of it, his son is behind the bars today.
Mr. Naidu told that TDP has prepared developmental schemes for the Welfare of BC’s and the Muslims. TDP is categorizing the SCs. He told that some parties are accumulating wealth through irregularities and contesting elections on the strength of such wealth. TDP is replying them with is planned strategy. He pointed out that the allertness of administration during TDP rule is not found now in any department. He alleged that Congress has started a new chapter of communal riots to cover up its failures. He told that TDP believes in equality in all the fields.
