Nagam’s absence at Kishan’s meet raises many an eyebrow

Though senior BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy recently visited the State party headquarters, his absence in the party programs attended by Telangana party president G Kishan Reddy in Mahbubnagar district today appears the gap between them further widened.

Nagam, who is keeping away from party activities for some time, had visited the State BJP headquarters at Nampally and met some leaders and workers on August 6. He used to organize his press conferences outside the party office generating rumors that Dr Nagam might join some other party. But his visit to the party office recently halted the rumor mill. Again his absence in the party program in Mahbubnagar district on Thursday gave room to speculate about his continuing in the BJP.

Nagam Janardhan Reddy, who joined BJP after quitting TDP during Telangana movement,  seems unhappy for not giving due importance by the party leadership. He could not attend party program in Mahbubnagar district when party president G Kishan Reddy was touring the district as part of Sampark Abhiyan”.

Sources close to Nagam said they have no information about the visit of party president Kishan Reddy to Mahbubnagar district. (NSS)
