Hyderabad, January 02: Telangana Telugu Desam Party Forum convenor, Mr Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Saturday warned that they would begin agitation from January 6th evening itself, if the report of the Sri Krishna Committee is not in favour of separate Telangana state formation.
Speaking to the media after meeting the party president, Mr Chandrababu Naidu here, Mr Nagam said that there would be turmoil in the State if the Sri Krishna Committee report is not favourable to Telangana. Reiterating that resignations by the public representatives was not the only solutions for Telangana issue, he called upon all the party functionaries to get ready for any sacrifice for the cause of Telangana. He also noted that even Muslim and Christian minorities in the region were also aspiring for a separate Telangana State.
Brushing aside the reports that he has resigned as the convenor of Telangana Forum of the TDP, Mr Nagam clarified that they were totally erroneous, and even maintained that he would think of resignation whenever he was not in a position to bring co-ordination in the party in a proper manner.
