Telangana Nagara Bheri president Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Monday launched his “Bharosa yatra” from Achampet in the district.
Before launching the yatra, Nagam performed puja at Umamaheshwara Swamy temple in Achampet. Telangana Political JAC Chairman Prof. Kodandaram and senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya also participated in the Bharosa yatra and announced solidarity with to Nagam Janardhan Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Reddy reminded that over 1000 youths had sacrificed their lives for the cause of Telangana. The suicides of the youth in the region would be stopped, if and when separate Telangana State was formed. The Telangana Congress MPs and ministers should unitedly mount pressure on the party high command on the separate State issue. The Congress would lose its address in the region, if the UPA government failed to carve out separate Telangana State, he cautioned. (NSS)
