Nagam resents TRS leaders’ criticism against Kodandaram

Former minister and BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy today lamented criticism of Prof Kodandram by TRS leaders.

Speaking to the media, Nagam said people have right to question the TRS government and Chief Minister KCR. In a lighter vein he asked how Kodandaram became bad man for KCR when he along with him participated in Telangana movement. Alleging KCR was making mockery of democratic system, Nagam alleged that the former was luring leaders of other political parties and indulging in criticism against those who questioned his authority and functioning of his government. KCR wanted to finish Opposition in the State , he alleged.

 

Nagam pointed out that KCR used Kodandram and JAC. But now when functioning of his government questioned, TRS leaders have indulged unitedly criticizing Kodandram, he said. Nagam asked KCR to desist from making comments against the Opposition leaders and those who questioned his government. KCR should change his style, he quipped.

On the controversy over Krishna river water, the BJP leader said the people of Mahbubnagar will not allow a drop of water to flow illegally and Telangana BJP would protect the State’s share in Krishna river water. (NSS)
