BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy today criticized that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is behaving in a foolish manner through his “Silent Protest” at Jantar Mantar against bifurcation of the state. Talking to news persons at Secretariat here he sought to know why Kiran Reddy failed to step down as Chief Minister.
Ridiculing Kiran Reddy he sought to know is it not for political mileage the Chief Minister is taking on the Center and the Congress against bifurcation.
He flayed Kiran Reddy for his remarks that bifurcation will render more to loss to Telangana. What more loss you want to make for Telangana he said. We have been plundered for years of our resources, jobs, water, self respect and self rule, Nagam stated. Now that the Center is firm on Telangana no anyone can prevent the statehood, he said.
He opined that Kiran Reddy and Seemandhra leaders are making vain efforts to prevent the bifurcation. He asserted that the leaders should mend their ways so as to make the politics free from nonsense and irrelevant dramas of silent protests. Can the President and Center bow down to Kiran Reddy and others opposing the division of the state, Nagam said. (NSS)
