BJP MLA Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Sunday appealed to the Seemandhra MLAs not to obstruct the tabling of Telangana Bill in the State Legislative Assembly.
Speaking to media persons here, Nagam said that the Bill should be tabled in the Assembly on Monday itself and the debate should start immediately. He said that the BJP was in favour of smooth division of Andhra Pradesh and this was possible only if Seemandhra MLAs extend their cooperation and participate in the debate. He said that it was the responsibility of the Leader of the House Kiran Kumar Reddy and Opposition Leader N Chandrababu Naidu to ensure tabling of the Telangana Bill in the Assembly for debate.
Nagam feared that if the Assembly fails to debate the Bill in the ongoing session, then the Centre would get a reason to delay the Telangana formation further. (INN)
