The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) on Thursday declared results for High School (Class X) and Higher Secondary School (Class XII) Leaving Certificate Examinations, 2015.
In the class X, the pass percentage of government, private and repeaters as a whole was 63.05% with 51 candidates emerging in the top 20 list.
Nazneen Akhtar Tapadar from the Holy Cross Higher Secondary School topped the merit list with an aggregate percentage of 97.16%, whereas Ponthungo Odyuo from Mezhür HSS Kohima and Chentisangla Longkumer from G Rio School, Kohima were the joint top second position holders with an aggregate percentage of 96.66% each.
In the higher secondary (Class XII) Arts stream, Nuksungmenla Jamir of the Queen Mary HSS Mokokchung topped with an aggregate of 88.67%. The pass percentage of Arts stream is 69.91%.
With a pass percentage 66.86%, the commerce stream was topped by P Suraja of SD Jain HSS Dimapur with an over all percentage of 90.16%.
Aanchal Verma of Pranab Vidyapith HSS, Dimapur topped the HSSLC Science stream with an aggregate of 91.67%. The overall pass percentage of Science stream stood at 79.64%.
The High School (Class X) and Higher Secondary School (Class XII) Leaving Certificate Examinations were conducted from February to March this year.
