Maulana Azad National Urdu University has been awarded the highest “A” grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). MANUU has secured 3.09 CGPA points in the second cycle. This is for the second consecutive time that the University has been awarded “A” grade by NAAC.
Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, Vice-Chancellor in his message has congratulated the students, teachers and staff for this mega achievement. The only university in the country providing higher education through Urdu Medium has withstood different tests and evaluation to come out with flying colours. This is no mean achievement, he remarked.
Award of “A” grade to MANUU for the second successive time also indicates that Urdu as a medium of instruction is second to none, says the Vice-Chancellor. He also stressed the need to promote an environment of knowledge, research and debate within the University.
Dr. Shakeel Ahmad, Registrar also welcomed the “A” grade by NAAC to the only Urdu University of the country. MANUU offers courses in modern subjects like Information Technology, Computer Engineering besides Arts and Social Sciences through Urdu Medium. Pass outs from MANUU are well placed in the market, he pointed out indicating that good placements are not a hindrance to students from Urdu medium background.
