YSR Congress honorary president Vijayamma gave a clean chit to her son-in-law and Christian evangelist Br. Anil Kumar.
Talking to the media here on Wednesday, she said Anil had nothing to do with Rakshana Steels. She also expressed the hope that her son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy would come out of jail soon.
Alleging that the State government had failed on all counts, Vijayamma said she would tour the entire State for strengthening the party. She said the government was hiking all the prices, putting an unbearable burden on the shoulders of the common man. She said it was shameful that Leader of the opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu was shielding the Kiran Kumar Reddy government. She called upon the party workers to fight on people’s problems.
YSR Congress extended party meeting was held at the Lotus Pond office on Wednesday. Vijayamma presided over the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, she said party ranks should not shirk to fulfill their duty of fighting for people’s rights though they were deprived of the leadership of their party president. The party’s meeting will decide its future course of action. (NSS)
