New York, April 27 (ANI): Mike Tyson has revealed that one of his former girlfriends cooked and ate one of his beloved racing pigeons.
Appearing on the Boomer and Carlton radio show in America on Thursday the 46-year-old athlete, who’s now vegan, brought up a painful incident from his past relationship, the New York Daily News reported.
When the hosts asked Tyson, if he had ever eaten one of his birds, he replied that he tried but just couldn’t do it.
“I was dating this young lady and she said, ”I don”t know why you”re flying those damn birds, you should be eating them””
“She happened to grab one and she cooked one and proceeded to eat it,”
The impromptu meal likely hastened the demise of Tyson”s relationship.
The former heavyweight champion said that eating the bird wasn’t the right thing to do and that’s why that young lady is not with him anymore.
The heavyweight-boxing champ has raised pigeons since childhood, at one point keeping up to 350 birds. (ANI)
