MWD to conduct enquiry into irregularities in recruitments in minority schools

Minority Welfare Department has decided to conduct probe into the complaints regarding irregularities in recruitments in minority schools. Secretary Minority Welfare has decided to submit a report to Director General Anti Corruption Bureau who is also Vice Chairman of the society, in this regard.

It has been learnt that complaints of large scale corruption and irregularities have been received in recruitment of principals, teachers and non-teaching staff. Some persons included in the society are said to have appointed persons of their choice. Complaints regarding collection of huge amounts in connection with recruitments have also been received. Private teachers were said to be given preference against government teachers. Officials of Education Departments informed Secretary Minority Welfare regarding the irregularities.

Secretary Minority Welfare expressed anger over people associated with the society especially some retired officials during the review meeting.
