Siasat Urdu Daily is organizing a protest meeting at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall, Siasat office compound at 2:30 p.m. today. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily will preside over the function. Noted social activist Mr. Harsh Mandar will give the details of the organized killing of Muslims in the recent Communal Riots occurred in Muzaffarnagar in UP. Thousands of Muslim men and women were dislodged from their houses. Several Muslims are still kept in relief camps. They are afraid of going back to their homes. Many Muslim women have been molested. The so-called Secular Govt. of Samajwadi Party which is in power in UP and its administration behaved like silent spectators.
Mr. Harsh Mandar, IAS resigned his post protesting against the Communal Riots occurred in Gujrath in 2002. He is a realistic person who refuses to bow down before the fascist powers like Narendra Modi and raised his voice in support of the Gujrath victims. Mr. Harsh Mandar visited Muzaffarnagar and observed very closely the status of Muslims after the recent Communal Riots. His lecture will be based on his personal observations and the bare facts which will be very informative for the public. The meeting will start at 2:30 p.m. sharp.
