A riot victim living at a relief camp who was gangraped by two youths deposed before a local court in Muzaffarnagar and recorded her statement. The 20-year-old victim has alleged that she was gangraped by two youths and threatened for life if she mentioned the incident to anyone.
The victim’s statement was recorded in Court, following which a Special Investigation Team (SIT) filed a chargesheet against the two accused. The girl, whose family was displaced from their home at Fugana village, was allegedly raped on November 2.
The accused were arrested a day after, following a complaint lodged by her father. The duty magistrate had sent the two accused — Sachin and Sunil Kumar to 14 days judicial custody.
