Hyderabad, October 3: Every individual associated with Telangana movement knows that the so called leadership of Muslims dances to the tune of Congress but the common Muslim of Telangana is sincerely linked with the movement. Muslims will get a status akin to Kerala and Assam in the Telangana state where no political force can get power without Muslims’ support. To fulfill the dream of Telangana all political parties should work on a common platform. Despite the fact that suicide is prohibited in Islam, several Muslim youth are sacrificing their lives for Telangana this clearly indicates Muslims overwhelming association with Telangana movement.
These views were expressed by various Muslim intellectuals on the occasion of a seminar held by Telangana Muslim Advocates Joint Action Committee on the topic of “Telangana movement and Muslims at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall, Siasat premises. The seminar was presided over by Maulana Syed Shah Taqi Qaudri advocated president JAC.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan who attended the conference as chief guest asserted that no political party can form Telangana on its own hence all political parties should come on a common platform and strive unitedly instead of campaigning individually.
Mr. Allauddin Ansari Advocate, Mr. Mohammad Rafathullah advocate, Maulana Syed Shah Tariq Qaudri advocate, Mr. Kareemuddin Shakeel, Mr. Abdul Quddoos Ghouri, besides Mr. Husain Shaheed, Mr. Raheemullah Khan Niazi, Mr. Islamuddin Mujahid and others spoke on the occasion in support of Telangana state.
