Demanding enquiry from sitting judge into Alair encounter Mr. Wara Wara Rao blamed state government of converting the Telangana state into police state. Addressing a press conference organised here at a media centre by Muslim organisations Wara Wara Rao also alleged that state government killed scores of Dalit and Muslim youth in the name of encounter during the 16 months period. He claimed that silence of Civil society on the encounter of a Dalit named Narsing Rao and criminal silence of Democratic Front and Civil Society on the encounter of Viqar and his friends in judicial custody has paved way for further fake encounters. He told that killing of undertrials under judicial custody in the name of encounter has become the habit of Telangana police. He felt that silence over killing of Viqar and his friends have emboldened Telangana police. This is the reason that police brutally killed B.Tech students Shruti and Vidya Sagar Reddy in Warangal and named it as encounter. 3rd degree was used on Shruti and Vidyasagar. He strongly condemned police encounter.
Meanwhile Telangana Democratic Front has announced Chalo Assembly Programme against Warangal Fake encounter on September 30. Mr. Wara Wara Rao appealed people to make the proposed protest programme of TDF a success.
