Muslims should struggle for reservations

(Siasat News) Muslim will not get reservation in political circles unless they raise their voice through continuous struggles. There is a need to launch a protest campaign to seek political reservations in order to enter the portals of Assemblies and Parliament. Communal elements evolve various strategies to stop the Muslims from reaching the policy making political bodies. Keeping the situation in mind, the Muslims should evolve their strategy for struggling to get political reservations.

These thoughts were expressed by Mr. Mohammed Fareeduddin, a social activists. He further told that for their political existence in India, the Muslims have to struggle. The Muslims should learn a lesson from Amberpet Assembly election of 2009. Congress had given ticket to Mr. Mohammed Fareeduddin, former minister but all the communal minded forces joined together to defeat him. Even the Congress workers with communal mindset worked against their own party candidate. They campaigned in favour of BJP candidate Mr. Kishan Reddy who ultimately won the seat. Mr. Mohammed Fareeduddin told that Dalits and other depressed classess get united to get their problems solved. The Muslims should also struggle in the same way unitedly.

If a combined campaign for the political reservation of the Muslims is started, all the political parties will be forced to give tickets to the Muslims. If this happens, the political scene of the country is bound to change. He opined that the enhancement of Muslim representation in Assemblies and Parliament will certainly be helpful in resolving the problems of the Muslims especially in economic and educational fields. In this way, the financial position and educational standards of the Muslims could be improved.
