Mr. M.T. Khan, Human Rights Activist released the Urdu translation of the book written by Mr. Balagopal, a social activist of Hyderabad. This book pertains to Muslim identity and Hindutva politics. The function was organized by Human Rights Forum. The president of the Forum, Mr. Jeevan Kumar, Mr. Amit Sen Gupta, Associate Professor of IIM Delhi, Mr. Meer Ayub Ali Khan of Times of India and Mr. Quader Mohiuddin were the guests of honour. Mr. M.T. Khan told that the book is very useful for fighting communalism.
Mr. Ayub Ali Khan appreciated the book and said that we got the message of communal harmony, protection of civilization and promotion of peace and tranquility from our ancestors. He lamented that Fascist forces are making an attempt to divide and the Muslims by spreading communal hatred. So long as we have secular minded people in the country, the communal elements will not be successful in damaging our common civilization.
Mr. Jeevan Kumar told that this book is a strong reply to the communal forces who are spreading the propaganda of communal hatred. He further told that the Hindutva forces are not only working against the Muslims but they are also against democracy. Referring to the recent communal riots in Muzaffarnagar, he said that it is the example of their evil designs. He pointed out that the Muslims are weak in politics. He advised them to be strong in politics to maintain their identity. He described Mr. Balagopal’s book as a great weapon against fascist forces. He stressed the need for the secular forces to get united. He announced that the release functions of this book will be held in the entire state to foil the evil designs of the communal forces.
