(Siasat News) A meeting of all the groups of Ulema was convene yesterday to bring them together on a common platform. Moulana Ataur Rahman Wajedi, Amer of Wahdath-e-Islami Organisation requested all the Muslims to come together to fight the evil forces. He told that the Muslims have Governments, minerals, wealth and other resources but what is their wait in the world? Who is deciding about their future? All these thinks have to be seriously thought over. If there is any nation which can give a tough fight to the fascist forces, it is only the Muslims.
Moulana Safi Ahmed Madani, told that our ancestors also had ideological differences but they knew their limits. They never wanted to prolong their differences. They were holding the Quran and the Sunnah firmly. Our situation is that we are concentrating on trivial issues.
Moulana Ghayas Ahmed Rashadi told that we have given first place to our sect (Maslak) and forgot our deen. The result is that if any one embraces Islam, he is perplexed as to which sect he should follow. We lack broad mindedness. We want that all should come to us and we don’t want to go others. This will not help in forming unity. He applauded the efforts of Wahdath-e-Islami Organisation to bring together all the sects of the Muslims. He suggested that a common platform should be formed to bringing together all the Muslims. Our differences are 10% and the foundations of unity are 90% which we have forgotten.
Moulana Asif Omari told that difference are natural but we should not narrow minded. Prophet Mohammed (SAWS) had given a message to all the Muslims to become brothers. The greatest deed of Prophet Mohammed (SAWS) that he establish brotherhood among the immigrants from Makkah and the Ansaris of Madina.
Moulana Yousuf Peerzada told that there is a difference in our saying and doing. He told that we pray to god to forgive all the Muslims but we also pronounced the decree of hell and infidelity for other Muslims. He told that Mosques are the abodes of Allah (SWT) but we have changed them into the centers of parties, groups and sects(Maslak).
Moulana Abdul Aleem Islahi told that we should come together on righteous path and not on the evils. We should decide the objective of our unity. Moulana Abrar-Ul-Haq Qasimi told that Qadiyaniyath and refusal of Hadees are on the increase. We should fix our targets and should struggle unitedly. By doing so our religion faith will be protected and we would able to achieve greater objectives for the Muslims. Moulana Moin Nadvi told that mutual hatred and animosity together with backbiting are the greater evils which should be eradicated. Moulana Mahmood-Ur-Rahman told that the brain washing of Muslim ulema is needed and there is also a need to bring about changes in the curriculum of Deeni Madarsas so that good Muslim ulema could be prepared.
