TRS chief Chandrasekhar Rao has claimed that Muslims themselves are responsible for the defeat of Muslim candidates. Whenever TRS fielded any Muslim candidate, Muslim voters by not supporting them play their role in defeating him.
When he was asked during the press conference that on one side he is promising 12% reservations to Muslims and on the other hand he has included only one Muslim name in the list of 69 candidates. Chandrasekhar replied minorities will be given representation in the 2nd list.
KCR told that party is ready to give ticket to Muslims but Muslims do not emerge victorious. He cited Syed Ibrahim’s example and said that TRS fielded him twice but both the times Muslims couldn’t ensure his victory.
