(Siasat News) Former police constable Mr. Mohammed Abdul Quadeer can’t be left along to die ailing. Muslims can’t keep their eyes shut on the pathetic condition of Mr. Quadeer who has been ill for quite sometime. Muslims can afford to get Quadeer treated in any super speciality Hospital at their own expenses and they don’t need Govt’s help. He is being treated in Govt. Hospital. As a result of this treatment either his leg will be cut off or he would meet death. There is a need to get Quadeer treated in a private super speciality hospital.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor Siasat who had visited him two days ago, offered to get the treatment of Quadeer done in any super speciality hospital in private sector. For this, he has demanded the Govt. of A.P. to accord permission to get Quadeer admitted in a private hospital or else, he should be released immediately so that proper treatment is given to him.
When the news of Quadeer’s ailment was published in Siasat Urdu daily and his photograph was put on the website, more than eleven thousand readers expressed their view on website and hundreds of others contacted Siasat office on phone and expressed their anxiety over the deteriorating health of Mr. Mohammed Abdul Quadeer. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, in a statement demanded the Govt. to permit Abdul Quadeer to get his ailment treated in a super speciality hospital. If Quadeer is left to this condition, he might lose one of his legs or without any proper treatment, he may die shortly.
The wounded leg is in such a bad condition, if cleaning of the wound is done, hand gets into the cavity. It is not possible to get proper treatment in a Govt. hospital. Mr. Quadeer’s financial condition does not allow him to bear heavy expenses of treatment in a super speciality hospital.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan told that some Philanthropists of the society have offered to bear the expenses of his treatment. Mr. Quadeers’ condition is very pathetic. Even a person with stone heart will feel mercy on him. The tragedy is that jail authorities and all Govt. officials are careless about his health.
Many N.R.I’s also appealed to the Govt. either to permit Abdul Quadeer to get his treatment done in a private hospital or release him as he has already completed life sentence of imprisonment long back.
