TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy has demanded the state government to answer on what circumstances Advocate General D Prakash Reddy had tendered his resignation. He also demanded the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to tender apologies to the Telangana society and restore the Assembly membership of expelled two Congress MLAs.
Speaking to the media here on Monday at Gandhi Bhavan, Uttam said that never happened in the history of India like expulsion of two Congress MLAs from Assembly earlier. The High Court verdict today clearly shows as to how the democracy in Telangana state was murdered, he said.
Later in chitchat with the scribes in his chamber, Uttam asked Muslims not to cast their vote to BJP, TRS and MIM as they were all extending support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was dictating the people to do as to what he wished like wearing dresses and eating food. He said that the Muslims have to cast their vote to Congress if they wanted to live safely in the country. He said that he will use Ifthar parties as the forum to ask the votes of Muslims and so that the Congress party given interruption to Bus Yatra to participate ifthar parties across the state. He said that MLC K Damodar Reddy was not leaving the party at any cost as he spoken personally with Damodar Reddy. (NSS)
