Thanks to the biased and prejudiced police officials innocent Muslim youth are enduring punishments in Indian jails for their undone crimes. There is no one to care for them. Muslim youth in prisons are going through a painful and excruciating period. Due to lack of effective legal support the Muslim youth are suffering atrocities despite being innocent. They are meted out inhuman behavior in the prisons and they are deprived of even basic human rights. These views were expressed by Maulana Naseeruddin’s sons, Muqeemuddin Yasser and Baleeghuddin Jaber in a special meeting.
The innocent duo have been released 3 days ago after implanting severe punishment for 4 years and two months. They revealed that they can’t even express the agony they went through in jail, however they thanked Almighty Allah that He helped them stand firm in their faith rather they grew stronger in faith. They told that they were kept in a room admeasuring 6×3 feet and they are looking at fans and tubes after 4 years and 2 months. They claimed that the attitude of Andhra Pradesh police is not only anti-Muslim but inhuman. Due to their pressure only the Muslim youth are shifted to Karnataka, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh jails.
The prejudice of the jail authorities has risen to such an extent that the superintendent of the jail used to say always that ‘you are traitors. You people should be hanged to death 50 times.’ The innocent youth believe that the government officials police and jail superintendent’s attitude is not in country’s interest rather it is fully against Indian constitution. They should know that no one is a convict until proved guilty. They asserted that implicating innocent Muslim youth in false cases is an act of treachery against the nation which can evoke dangerous consequences.
Maulana Naseeruddin told that his sons were implicated in false cases to create terror among other Muslim youth and to dispirit them. Maulana said with the release of Yasser and Jabir their mother wife and children are happy, but we will feel contented when all the innocent Muslim youth are releases. Unfortunately Muslims have leadership which entrap our youth not which defends them.
