Hyderabad: Accusing KCR of cheating all sections of the society during the past five years, leader of the opposition in Legislative Assembly Mohammed Ali Shabbir claimed that the Telangana government failed in fulfilling its promises.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhawan, M A Shabbir questioned about the implementation of 12 pc Muslim reservations? He said TRS had promised to implement Muslim reservation 4 months after coming to power but 40 months have passed but no sincere efforts have been made and Muslims are still deprived of it.
Shabbir said Muslims are placated by hosting Dawat-e-Iftar so as to deviate their minds from Muslim reservations. He said KCR is adopting the policy of ‘iftar khao aur tahaffuzaat bhool jao’.
Shabbir also said the ruling party’s ally MIM is also not sincere in solving Muslim issues and providing reservations. MIM leadership is only concerned about its personal gain, he said.
