Hyderabad, October 5: A delegation of Telangana Political Joint Action committee told Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh that Muslims are taking active part in the struggle for separate Telangana state. President Movement for Peace and Justice, Hamed Mohammad Khan who was among the delegation explained to prime minister the reasons behind Jamat-e-Islami Hind’s support to separate Telangana movement.
On his return to Hyderabad, Hamed Mohammad Khan told that he explained to prime minister that Jamat-e-Islami is supporting the movement to eliminate injustice and to provide justice to people.
Jamat is the standard-bearer of justice and to strive against injustice is among the principles of Jamat-e-Islami. He said.
