Muslims don’t need to give proof of their loyalty towards the country: Jamiat Ulama

Varanasi: A 2-day Seerat conference was organised by Jamiat Ulama Banaras at Benia Bagh. The speakers urged Muslims to follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him). They expressed satisfaction that Muslims are abiding by the rules of the Indian Constitution.

The speakers claim that we do not need to prove our loyalty towards the country. Muslims play a very important role in freeing the country from British rule. Jamiat Ulama was also in the forefront during the freedom struggle.

Mufti of Banaras Maulana Abdul Batin Nomani in his inaugural address highlighted the seerah of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him). Thousands of people gathered at Benia Bagh and patiently listened to the speeches from morning to evening.

Besides Maulana Abdul Batin Nomani, Maulana Matin ul Haq Osama Qasmi president Jamiat Ulama Uttar Pradesh, Maulana Rahmatullah member Majlis-e-Shura, Maulana Muhammad Usman Mansoorpuri addressed the gathering.
