Prof. Abdul Mateen of Aligarh Muslim University told that 14% Muslims but only 2% of them are educated. As per Sacchar Committee Report 12% of the Muslims are not in any profession. These days, the educational standard of the Muslims is progressing and the girl students are coming forward in the field of education. He applauded the efforts of Al-Suffah High School, Tarban has come forward to conduct distance education examinations of Aligarh Muslim University in Hyderabad.
Chief Guest Prof. Fareeda Siddiqui of Maulana Azad National Urdu University told that the percentage of Muslim girls in the field of education is increasing whereas the percentage of Muslim boys is decreasing. The parents should concentrate on getting the boys educated.
Ms. Ayesha Begum also addressed the gathering. Mr. Shaik Jaffar, President of Alsuffah Educational Society thanked the guests.
