Lakhimpur Kheri: A Muslim youth headed for prayers in the village mosque was shot by unidentified miscreants.
The incident happened in the Takiya Purwa’s Lakhimpur Kheri village in Uttar Pradesh.
The miscreants attacked the youth at a time when he was heading towards mosque for prayers.
Although the villagers make an effort to catch hold of the attackers but the miscreants managed to flee by taking advantage of the darkness.
The bullet hit the right hand of the youth. He was rushed to a hospital and is out of danger.
The motive for the attack is unclear.
