Muslim youth must join police and armed forces: Lt. Syed Siddique Hasan

In the aftermath of Gujarat massacre and Muslim genocide, Muslims lived in the state of fear in the entire country. A team of Siasat reached Gujarat for relief work where a top Hindu official told the team that if the police department had Muslims such a massive destruction would not have occurred. Those words sank deep into the heart of Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan and he started police recruitment training for Muslim youth. Initially some people even poke fun at the initiative saying that Muslims are not recruited in police force then what’s the use of the training. But everyone witnessed that as a result of the campaign and training camp 935 youth have been recruited in the police force so far and presently one can find constables trained by Siasat in almost every police station of Hyderabad.

One such example is Syed Siddique Hasan of Hyderabad who took Siasat training in the year 2003 and today he is the Commanding Officer of 22 companies and 4 Andhra battalion NCC. Son of Syed Abul Aleem and Iqbal Fatima, Syed Siddique was selected in NCC in 2008. He has bagged silver medal on national level and has the honour of becoming parade commander.

In a special meeting he told that Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan, Managing Editor Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan and news editor Mr. Amer Ali Khan have given a positive message to the Muslims of the country by conducting training camps which yielded positive results. In a message to Muslim youth Mr. Siddique urged the Muslim youth to join police force and join NCC from the High School level itself.
