Hyderabad, July 25: One of the 4 friends who went to Osman Sagar for picnic, drowned in an attempt to take pictures. The other three also jumped into the lake to rescue their friend. They were also drowning but were saved by a person who bravely rescued the trio from drowning however not knowing how to swim19 year old Mohammad Mubeen drowned.
It is said that the four ex-students of Saint Amber School, Amberpet, Mohammad Mubeen, Mohammad Dawood, Mohammad Feroz and Mohammad Shahbaz gathered at a place on Sunday morning and decided to celebrate the holiday at Osman Sagar. They went there without their parents’ knowledge.
With the plan to take pictures the four friends reached the hill at the centre of the lake the place which has been declared unsafe. Meanwhile Mohammad Mubeen slipped from the hill and drowned. On receiving the information his parents also reached there. The diver Ramchander of the fishery department taking advantage of the situation sought 5 thousand rupees from the grieved family to retrieve the body.
The mother was stunned seeing the dead body of her young son. The auto trolley drivers were also trying to make money even in such a grim situation.
