Hyderabad, January 27: Siasat had long back expressed apprehension that it will take no time for the ongoing apostatical activities in far off places and coastal areas to spread its wings towards Hyderabad.
It has been reported yesterday that some burqa clad woman are attending a church situated at Chatta bazaar. It is unfortunate that these women are attending the function with their Islamic identity. The Christian missionary directs them not to forego their culture as in their opinion on looking upon them other Muslim women too would adopt Christianity.
The locals told Siasat daily ‘earlier too some Muslim women came here but at that time we thought they might have come to see some of their friends’. But when they saw Muslim women yesterday again their religious honour didn’t allow them to keep quite. The local businessmen told that this time three Muslim women including a young girl attended the function at the church.
MB Bithani church situated at Chatta bazaar conducted a one Day Women’s Retreat yesterday. The unrest among local businessmen and rounds of media persons on tip-off, alerted the church authorities as a result they detained the women in the church even at lunch hour. Those women didn’t even participate in the lunch served in a tent outside the church.
It’s true that we cannot forcibly restrain any Indian from adopting any faith but we should strongly take note of such incidents and explore the causes and reasons behind the spread of apostasy and realising our negligence we should formulate plans so as to avoid such type of incidents to be repeated.
