Muslim woman forced to eat meat of dead animal, Trilokpuri tensed

NEW DELHI: East Delhi’s Trilokpuri is tense after a report of mother-son allegedly feeding a flesh of a dead animal to a woman belonging to the minority community surfaced, Indian Express reported.

The alleged incident between families of different communities took place on Saturday after which the atmosphere of the entire area is tense following which security forces have been deployed to prevent any untoward situation.

According to the statement given by the victim named Najma, the accused identified as Rojo and his son 23-year-old Vishal living in Khoda Colony barged into her house with a piece of meat and a knife.

Before she could understand anything, mother-son duo attacks her dignity by using abusive language. Later, Vishal grabbed both of Najma’s hands from behind and his mother tried to forcefully put a piece of dead flesh into her mouth.

Neighbors gathered outside Najma’s house after listening to her scream and when the mother-son saw the crowd, they fled the spot leaving the piece of flesh at Najma’s house, she said in her FIR.

A complaint of the incident was lodged in the Mayur Vihar Police Station. Upon receiving the complaint, the police reached the spot and took the piece of flesh in its possession and sent it for investigation.

Preliminary investigations revealed that both the accused used to stay in the Najma’s neighborhood earlier. But after a small dispute, they had shifted to Khoda Colony. The accused told the police that a Tantrik had advised them that they have to feed the flesh to Najma if they want to “ward off evil.”
