Muslims have also equally participated in Telangana agitation along with others. It is obligatory on the part of TRS Govt. to give important positions to Muslims. These thoughts were expressed by Maulana Mohammed Barkatullah Qasimi while addressing media persons at hotel Peacock in Kareem Nagar. He applauded Mr. KCR and said that he is a Muslim friendly CM. He is a person of secular ideology. He is very fond of Nizam’s Rule. He mentioned on several occasions the developments that took place during the reign of the late Nizam of Hyderabad.
He demanded that TRS Govt. should give 12% reservation to Muslims and declare Urdu as second official language of the State. He also demanded the CM to concentrate on providing jobs to Muslims.
