(Siasat News) TDP Supremo Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu said that reservations to Muslims according to their population are essential and TDP is working out a plan to provide reservation to Muslims in Telangana according to the size of their population. He told a delegation of the Muslims that TDP will ensure the development of Muslims. A delegation met Mr. Naidu yesterday under the stewardship of MR. K.P. Vivekanand. The delegation consisted of more than 50 Muslims. The delegation congratulated Mr. Naidu for allotting 14 Assembly and 2 Parliamentary seats to Muslims in the next elections.
The delegation members told Mr. Naidu that the present Congress Govt. is making only verbal promises whereas TDP had taken practical steps for the welfare of the Muslims during its regime.
Mr. Naidu told that TDP is a secular party. The opponents of TDP are trying to keep the Muslims away from it but he is confident that the Muslims won’t forget the construction of Hajj House and direct flights from Hyderabad to Jeddah for Hajj pilgrims. On this occasion Congress leaders Mr. Mazher Khan, Mr. Syed Shabbiruddin, Mr. Syed Zameeruddin and Mr. Syed Shahbaaz along with his supporters declared to joint TDP. They termed Congress as a deceitful party.
