It’s high time to provide reservations to Muslims to change their condition in Telangana state. Chairman Telangana Joint Action Committee Prof. Kodandaram told this while talking to media. He told that as Mandal Commission was formed to provide reservation to BC Community a strong strategy needs to be prepared for reservations to Muslims too. He told that providing reservation to economically and educationally backward sections is a constitutional right and any obstruction or delay will tantamount to violation of constitutional right.
He welcomed every step taken by government to eradicate educational and economic backwardness of Muslims and promised that Telangana Joint Action Committee will extend complete support. He claimed that reservation was the constitutional right of economically and educationally backward Muslims and it is the prime responsibility of state government to provide this to them.
