Muslim religious bodies decide to support TRS

Muslim Religious Ahle Sunnatwal Jamat Seerat Committee and Gulamane Mustafa Committee have decided to support the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in the Assembly and Parliament Elections -20014.
This was announced at a media meet at NSS here on Sunday by Mohd. Raheemullah Khan Niyazi President and Mohd. Zafar Ullah Khan, General Secretary of the Committees. The religious committees held an emergency meeting yesterday at its Head Office, Towlichowki, in which many Muslim religious leaders, Muslim intellectuals and Office bearers of the above Committees participated. In the meeting, they decided to extend full support to the TRS in the present elections.
They said they welcomed the TRS Manifesto- 2014 because of the following promises made in it: 12 percent reservation to Muslims; Urdu would continue to enjoy the status of second official language; Rs.1000 crore budget to Minority welfare in Telangana State; To Save Wakf Properties and to give Judicial powers to Wakf Board; and Implementation of Sachar and Ranganath Mishra Committees recommendations.
They requested all Muslims of Telangana State to cast their valuable vote to TRS in the Assembly and Parliament Elections on April 30, and strengthen the secular and Dynamic leader and ‘Telangana Mahatma’ K. Chandrasekhara Rao, President of TRS. (NSS)
