The Muslim predominant area of Maheshwaram lacks basic facilities. There is no such thing called road, on the other hand the water scarcity problem has reached to such an extent that people have to buy water for drinking. Electric transformers have become a hazard for local people and houses bordering the lakes have become abode of snakes. The snakes have made the lives of the residents a living hell. Terrified with the snakes people prefer staying indoors.
YSR party Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy’s confidante Venkat Prasad has come forward to mitigate municipal and other problems of residents living in Maheshwaram area. He visits various localities of the Maheshwaram area twice a week and after identifying the problems makes representation with the concerned officials. He hopes that soon he will change the face of the area.
